If you can’t describe it briefly, you may not be able to sell it. In order to be convincing, you must know thoroughly, talk about passionately and love deeply your stuff. You got to believe in what you are selling so much so that your potential clients would be eager to buy it. Remember you need to create an environment where you are not selling any longer but where the client is actually buying. That’s the quintessence of marketing. Some wise man went a bit further by asserting, « If something can’t be explained on the back of a small envelope, it won’t really be alluring. » Be simple, be straightforward, be authentic and, above all, always consider things from your potential buyers’ standpoint. What is likely to satisfy their needs? Do you care about their well-being? Would you buy what you are trying to sell them? Nothing beats honesty when it comes to genuine human interaction and true marketing.
